Join Deep Green Resistance

“Stand with me. Stand and fight. I am one, and we would be two. Two more might join and we would be four. When four more join we will be eight. We will be eight people fighting whom others will join. And then more people. And more. Stand and fight.”
—Derrick Jensen

Why Become a DGR Member?

Because industrial civilization is killing the planet. Because 200 species are driven to extinction every day, and some 40% of all human deaths are due to pollution. Because global warming is accelerating beyond the worst projections of climate scientists. Because day after day, indigenous communities are destroyed, women are battered, raped, and murdered, the rich steal from the poor, and Earth is driven closer to the brink.

These are among the problems that Deep Green Resistance works to address, and we need your help. Between the hypnotizing effects of technology and the violent inculcation of mass media, schooling, and popular culture, those who understand the nature of this abusive system are few and far between. We must organize in order to be successful.

We need all hands on deck. Building a resistance organization is a serious undertaking, and our recruitment process reflects that seriousness and the dedication that this work will take.

“What are your gifts and how can you use them in the service of your landbase? What does your landbase most need from you? What do you want to do? And perhaps most important of all: What are you willing to do?” ―Derrick Jensen
